There are many factors that go into deciding brand value and quality: long-term reliability, owner satisfaction, road-test performance scores, security and active safety, and more. Fortunately for those of us in Austin, there is a brand that we know encompasses all of these great factors in one: Audi.
And now, it's proven.
Just last week, products review company Consumer Reports compiled their list of which car brands make the best vehicles, ranked by overall quality score--and Audi led the pack.

While we posted just the top ten automakers, Consumer Reports ranked 30 brands in their scoring; but since the number eleven spot had a mere 60% customer satisfaction/"would recommend" rating, we thought it unnecessary to post the full list. If you're interested in seeing where your car's brand fell, though, you can access the rankings online.
For the examination, test models were assessed for "road-test performance, reliability, safety performance and active safety aids, and owner satisfaction", with overall score representing which brands were able to consistently deliver high-quality cars that consumers loved; those brands with a versatile lineup of carefully updated cars scored the highest.
Other brands that may have scored well in one category suffered overall from poor performance in another. Audi was one of just a few automakers to score above average in every single category tested by Consumer Reports--including a 100% recommendation rating across evaluated models. And all you have to do is ask one of your neighbors in the Austin area who drives one to know why.
At Audi South Austin, we're proud to be able to offer a massive selection of new luxury sedans and SUVs; with legendary performance and proven satisfaction, the time-tested Audi brand is showing no signs of slowing down.
