Looking Forward to the 2019 Audi A6

The Audi A6 is an incredibly popular luxury car option in South Austin, sitting perfectly above the A4 and below the A7 and A8, balancing tons of performance features with a relatively affordable price tag.

Like many new Audi cars this year, the 2019 Audi A6 is all-new, and ready to strut its stuff.

The above video is a preview of the model from the 2018 NY Auto Show, but we're going to dive in a little deeper to see what you can look forward to when the model is released and arrives sometime in the fall.

What to Expect from the All-New 2019 A6

The car may not look wildly different, but there are some major changes for the Audi A6.

MLB Evo platform

Like many of its siblings, the 2019 Audi A6 is adopting the brand's new platform, to improve production and enhance ride quality, build strength, and even performance and efficiency. It's a great change for the lineup and its models.

Engine options and powertrain specs

So far, the only engine option for the all-new Audi A6 is a 3.0-liter turbo V6 engine that's good for 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. A 48-volt battery belt-alternator-starter system powers an engine start/stop system, making this a surprisingly efficient option. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission comes standard, and the 2019 A6 will offer the brand's new quattro all-wheel-drive system with ultra technology.

Tech features

This will be an incredibly tech-savvy new sedan. One of the biggest additions is a stunning new dual-screen infotainment system. An 8.8-inch lower display holds touch-responsive climate controls and feature controls, while an 8.8-inch (or optional 10.3-inch) upper touch display offers control over navigation, media, and camera views.
